Made by Aardman Animations, Flushed Away was their first full computer-animated movie in collaboration with DreamWorks Animation. This 2006 adventure comedy had characters being voiced by Hollywood stars Hugh Jackman and Kate Winslet. The story revolved around an uptown rat, Roddy, who is accidentally flushed down the toilet. Roddy lands in a London sewer called Ratropolis making his world go upside down. Now, he has to find his way back home. This movie was termed to be a fairly expensive one with a budget of 149 million with use of Computer-Generated Imagery (CGI) technique. However, its gross box office collection was below average in the US i.e. USD 64 million. This also led to the termination of the partnership between DreamWorks Animation and Aardman Animations.
