Guys,Only VMware 4.1.3 works on Mountain Lion and not below versions period.I had version 3.1.3 and downloaded mountain lion, without viewing its compatibility with vmware 3.1.3. I suffer as all do. Mistakes happen, what can I say. Finally, I downloaded their trail version 4.1.3 to check if it really works, to my surprise VMWare is up, but there are couple of issues.1. Display sometimes acts weird, when Windows boots at logon screen, it shows black screen, I cannot enter password, all I have to do is re-boot again by shutting down.2. When screen saver gets activated, while not using, systems hangs when I try to re-use the system. I have to shutdown MAC completely to get back, no other option works, simply hangs.3. Looks like VMWare 4.1.3, takes a lot of time to boot itself, so if i try to open any browser or outlook or word or excel, system hangs for few mins. This also leads to hang, Safari browser or any application on Mac. It is very irritating, but it looks like I have wait for a period of 5 mins for VMWare to settle down then open applications on VM as well on MAC.4. Graphical issues are very much there for VMWare, looks like VMWare is using us, to test their new release :). Pay them US$50.00 and test their product. Amazing way of doing business.I trust the information helps, I still playing with VM 4.1.3 will advise if any interesting thing i come across.PS: I could get back my last VM 3.1.3 data when i used trail version 4.1.3, at least I got my files back, which was more important.Francis

This software is no longer available for the download. This could be due to the program being discontinued, having a security issue or for other reasons.
It is not uncommon for AntiVirus applications to hamper the install of software (especially under Windows) and why when installing from known good sources and or when recommended by the software manufacture to temporarily disable AntiVirus applications while installing the software. In other words I would not do this when just downloading some executable from the Internet from a private individual per se however when I install things like Developer Type Software directly from Microsoft or VMware products like VMware Workstation, as examples, I temporarily disable AntiVirus because software like this install much faster and does not encounter issues that can be caused by AntiVirus software and these types of programs are known good and safe to install with AntiVirus software temporarily disabled. VMware Tools is also one I always temporarily disable the AntiVirus software for. Now I don't know whether or not VMware suggests it however common sense and years of experience does.
This archive. will work on a 32 or 64 bit Windows OS. The bit level of the JDK you install will determine if it runs as a 32 or 64 bit application. This download does not include the required Oracle Java JDK. You will need to install it if it's not already on your machine. We officially support Oracle JDK 11.

All the Red Hat Enterprise Linux CoreOS (RHCOS) machines require network in initramfs during boot to fetch Ignition config files from the Machine Config Server. During the initial boot, the machines require a DHCP server in order to establish a network connection to download their Ignition config files.
The RHCOS images might not change with every release of OpenShift Container Platform. You must download an image with the highest version that is less than or equal to the OpenShift Container Platform version that you install. Use the image version that matches your OpenShift Container Platform version if it is available.
A VM environment with the name sp13osvm has been created from you, and is available on the CLIC-lab machines at clic-lab.cs.columbia.edu:/scratch/space/sp13-w4118/sp13osvm.7z. The file is rather large (1.3GB 7zipped), so make sure you are connected to the CS network before downloading it to your laptop or to a USB stick. Upon unzipping the file, you may run the VM either on your own laptop or put it on a USB stick and run it on one of the CLIC machines (clic-lab.cs.columbia.edu). To run the VM on your own laptop, you will either need VMWare Fusion (for Mac OS X) or VMWare Player (for Linux/Windows) software available here through your CLIC account, or the free VirtualBox software (works on Mac/Linux/Windows). Once the VM has booted, you should log in as user w4118 and use the password provided to you in class. You will be required to change the password on first login. To use the VM image on the CLIC machines, run the vmware player application that is preinstalled on those machines.
Downloading and creating your own development environment on your laptop is the only option that allows QEMU to run Android natively (through virtualization) rather than emulating the x86 Atom CPU in software, and so is likely to result in much faster development cycles (faster reboot). However, we cannot support all the different environments and host OSes you may have, so expect to spend some time fiddling with paths/Makefiles and figuring out what to do if something goes wrong during the setup. Download and install the Android SDK Tools and the NDK for your host platform (Windows, OS X, Linux) from here. You do not need to download the IDE that comes along with the SDK. Just go to the "Other Platforms" tab, and choose the SDK Tools only option.
Clone a working copy of the kernel by typing git clone UNI@sp13-w4118-git.cs.columbia.edu:groupN, where N is your group number. The kernel will download in a local directory called groupN. Your local copy has 5 branches: goldfish-2.6.29, hw2, hw3, hw4, and hw5. You can checkout a branch by typing git checkout . You and your teammates can work on your code from multiple machines - simply clone a working copy on each machine you want to work on, and use git push and pull (below) to synchronize with the central repository on the git server.

If you purchased UTM from the Mac App Store, installation is done for you. If you download the app directly, a disk image file named UTM.dmg appears in your download folder. Open it to mount the disk image. Press the Command Key, then drag the UTM application icon from the disk image to the Applications folder.
Probably the most useful button for new UTM users is Browse UTM Gallery. Click this to display a web page with links to download pages for a number of virtual machines (screenshot above). At this time, ARM native VMs are available for:
Thanks for the very detailed step-by-step guide.Looks like the Windows part is no longer relevant. They now have a link to a UUP download which converts the files downloaded into an ISO, which you then can install normally using UTM. 2ff7e9595c
